Ready. Set. Green Acres.

A transformation is getting underway

Ready

Since acquiring the property in 2013, Macerich has a history of strategic investments in Green Acres. In 2016, Green Acres Commons opened on the site of a former movie theater, and is now home to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Burlington, Ulta, 24 Hour Fitness, DICK’S Sporting Goods and more. Recently, we’ve welcomed Primark, Uniqlo, Hollister Co., Aldi, Pandera Bread, Real Fruit Bubble Tea, Chipotle, and more.

But that was just the beginning.

Set

Now is time for the next evolution of Green Acres. A transformation is getting underway, renewing the property at every angle.

We’ll start by knocking down Sears and the Auto Center to open up sightlines and build a striking new grand entrance for the northeast wing – complete with an attractive streetscape and outward-facing shops and restaurants. We’ll reimagine the Kohl’s building and reconfigure adjacent retail. By the time we’re done, 300,000 square feet of new and exciting entertainment, dining, and retail brands will call Green Acres home.

Green Acres

Don’t just take our “word” for it.  Enjoy the video above for a preview and stay tuned as we will announce new stores soon!
